Birthday Reflections + Any Words of Wisdom?

article image placeholderUploaded by @EasySpeaks
What is up, good people? Thank you for taking the time to tap in and join and listen. I appreciate it each and every time, each and every person. I just want to take a second and acknowledge, I guess, a checkpoint for me. Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 28 years old. I feel like as I talk and make these swell, I kind of paint a little bit of a picture for myself or of myself. Yeah, I turned 28 yesterday

I just had my 28th birthday, and i just wanted to reflect on that for a second. But also: What would you tell your 28 year old self if you could?

Oh!! Happy birthday 🌱💃

Resources come in many forms that are free to you, and they are places like this great resource, people that love you, that you don't ask enough of. Great resource time to take deep breaths before you engage in anything good or bad. Incredible. I learned it late. Rushing is not sexy. Multitasking is not sexy. 10 seconds could be a world of difference before you do anything. 10 seconds. So those are my words. Just dig into what's around you. Look harder

What's up, Elijah? Thanks for being here. Thanks for starting this conversation. I'm about a year and a couple of months behind you in age, so I turned 27 in a couple months. Either way, it's just so crazy to me. I can really late to you in the sense of how old do you really feel? And I hear you on saying 28, you're starting to feel that you're actually that age. I don't know, it's tough

So I just want, for the good times and the bad times, to remind you that it really moves fast. And as much as you can give yourself time to be present and to be aware when it feels really great. Also just to remember that the bad stuff is going to fly by too, in the big scheme of things. So I hope you had a great birthday and I hope that your 28th year treats you well

Because theoretically, am I really going to live to be like 92? I don't know, but I'm not thinking about that. But yeah, this is great. I'm always happy. I mean, youth is just a very attractive thing. So young people are just excited. So happy birthday and hope you have an amazing week. Peace

At the end of the day, we are souls and energy and how we interact is fascinating because you can connect on so many different levels that you may not have explored before with somebody out of your age group or your social group. And that's the beauty of hello, swell. That's the beauty of engaging with so many different people from diverse backgrounds, like parts of the world. Just culture, everything. What a blessing

First piece of wisdom, take care of the knees. Take care of the knees. They are going out like, the knees is like, I'm tired of this s***, I'm out. But no, you're not old, man. You know, we're close to being old. I'm 33, I'm not even old. I don't consider myself to be old. I don't consider people in their forty s to be old. To be honest

I just love your answer to my answer to his question to this thread. You know, you bring up the point of just enjoying, like, the whole field of flowers, not just the ones that are in your row. Method of four might slip, but I think that works anyway. Just really great. It's a great strategy started and I hope we all can take the advice we give. That's my dream

Why did the good Lord Almighty give us these feelings to Process? They're not bad, they're not wrong, but we should prioritize. So I would tell myself that, and I think lastly and I think I touched on that earlier, but define what success means, just specifically, just respective to you not just, like, vocationally, but spiritually, emotionally, and challenge yourself. Be vocal about who you are and what you're about and take these moments, man it's

And also learn how to want less because usually our problems and our pain and suffering usually come from wanting, from the whole concept of want. So the less you want, the happier you swell be. And I know that's kind of counterproductive. It sounds like that because of course we all want to achieve something. We all want to be successful. But you have to take a good look at what the success means to me because a lot of times it's not what we can attain
