Join me in #Cancun 10/7-10/14
Hola from Cancun, Mexico. It is absolutely beautiful here. I am so grateful to be here. We landed yesterday and had a pretty relaxing trip. It was not bad on the plane. The plane went really, really fast, in my opinion. And then we got to this beautiful resort. I was absolutely blown away. It's stunning from the moment you drive into the resort
So if you've ever been here, let me know what your experience has been. I just went into the ocean and swam all the way to they have protective buoy perimeter around the ocean and we swam all the way out to the edge and came back and it was amazing. The water is beyond warm and it was an incredible experience. Stay tuned because I will be sharing more. Have a great weekend

That's divine. I've never been to Cancun, but thank you for sharing the sound of that Caribbean beach ocean. It's so different to some of the other sounds of the ocean on the beach. It's amazing how they all have their own voice. Enjoy. Enjoy. And thank you for sharing
So I'm looking forward to continuing to share and I will continue to share the rest of the days. Kind of like that Life journal station on this post. So I don't think I'm going to be making separate posts. I think I'm just going to keep replying to my own one to continue to share this beautiful journey. I hope you're having an amazing day

Oh, Vanessa, you have no idea how much I enjoyed just even hearing the sea and knowing you're giving yourself this gift. And I love that you want us to join you, like, almost come over, like, get on a plane. Enjoy, enjoy. And it's just lovely to continue this journey with you. I did this when I was in Australia. It was a longer time period. I tried to post every day, but it's really a gift
And then we did decide to, after a little bit, go see if there were any additional chairs by the pool area. And we kind of enjoyed the rest of the kind of afternoon into when it was getting a bit on the darker side at the pool area. So we got to use the pool bar and order some fun beverages there as well. I was sticking with my virgin mojitos, of course. So this picture is of me enjoying ceviche by the beache
And we decided to hang out by the pool because the red flags up on the beach, meaning we should not be in the water. I definitely would have felt comfortable going in the water, but I did not want to be irresponsible when they have the red flags out and possibly making them feel like, hey, they need to kind of keep an eye out on the people out there. So we decided to be responsible and hang out by the pool, which was lovely
This is day four in Cancun, Mexico. And so today was a beautiful, relaxing day from beginning until the end. I went out early, did my yoga on the beach. It was amazing. I swung by the they have an awesome little shop. Actually, it's quite a big shop in the resort and it has basically everything you need. Anything you forget, they have it. It was fantastic
In the next photo, you can see a bit more of the decorating with that sauce, and it's pink, yellow and green. And you can see that that was Tony, Jesse's uncle's plate. And then the next one is my dessert, which was the chai, little tiny chai ice cream, and a green tea ice cream that had like cinnamon or a different spice to it. I've never, ever tasted that. And I love green tea ice cream
And then I snapped a couple selfies so that we could get those last selfies of us together on the beach before the sun went down all the way. And we decided to enjoy a relaxing evening. We met Jesse's uncle in his room, in his spot that he was staying. And we watched a movie and ordered room service once again and enjoyed the sky. From Tony's room we could hear the waves crashing
I got really emotional in the morning prior to leaving because of, I think just of the connection there and just how special this vacation was and that the opportunity just kind of came. And I'm so grateful we were able to take advantage of it and be there. The whole experience was incredible and I'm looking forward to visiting Cancun at this resort another time in the very near future. I also want to thank each of you for getting up until this point and tuning into this trip
