And that's why we're always told to just be careful about what we expose ourselves to because it could be traumatic for our system. And I love your wish for us that we know when to say yes and when to say no. And I think we all have trepidation about stepping into unknown situations for fear of being uncomfortable or being rejected or not knowing who we're going to be in that moment and not being able to anticipate the behavior of others

It's in knowing what that underlying story, right, or stories that we are telling ourselves at the deepest level, at the soul level, what have been those sort of atrocities and crimes against our heart that maybe make it more fragile for certain situations
