Is this you? Or do you know someone like this?

What I'm saying is that alongside these amazing, brilliant moms are some amazing, brilliant not moms who didn't get married, who still bring value to the table, who have something to say, something to prove. Is that you? If that's you, what have you observed? What's been your experience? I want to hear this, because I'm coming for you

My observation: women who never marry and have no kids are overlooked, an adult third wheel and almost no one’s go to person…until now #women

I think I'd put myself in this category. It's been well over 17 years since I was divorced. And so for anybody else, it's as if I was never married. I don't have kids. I know my worth. But it's these weird ideas like this secret, secret manual that somehow people wired of how to interact with fellow humans and creating hierarchies and elevating and demoting people on arbitrary reasons

You. Hi. Just a reminder in case your mind is playing tricks on you today, you matter. You are important. You're loved. And your presence on this earth makes a difference whether you see it or not. I have been raised by a very strong personalities in my life and I've been taught to not to look down on people who are not married. It's a choice. Anyone should respect it

So I completely agree with you with regard to your question or your statement that archetypes definitely make people lazy and roles make people lazy. And when you're in relationship with a person that you are just talking with and learning about, it's got nothing to do with labels. It's got to do with how they're showing up in that moment, who they are, what value they bring, what insights they bring, what kindness they bring. So everything in general terms doesn't even hold water

But then again, it is more fun sitting at the kids table usually, so that the impact, the value, whatever unique skills, talents, strengths that I bring to the table are taken advantage of, right? Or put into action. It's really pretty awesome. We know thyself. And then I don't know what I'm wanting to be able to help shift the needle. Move that needle a little bit. I just believe we need everyone. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
