And one of them is sold as a slave and is brought to America through slave trade, while the other is kind of on the other side of that and comes to America by her own choice. And it goes through the generations and tells the stories of each of their children and those children and those children's children all the way down the line. And it's a beautiful be written story. It's very insightful and it's a nice quick read too. So that's ongoing

Short stories! "Both Ways Is the Only Way I Want It"

Hey, you know, it's weird. I have a book called The Beautiful Struggle by Tana Hecey Coates, and I've been wanting to read this book, and you just reminded me. So I went to my shelf and I just took it down. So thank you for that. And that beautiful recommendations of what you're reading. And I'm so happy you have time to read amidst all that you're doing. It sounds like you have a little cold, too

The Da Vinci Code

My response is going to be short and simple. And even though this is a much older book, the DA Vinci Code, and the reason for that is because of the thinking elements in this book, which were not in the movie at all. Most books that you read are so much better than what the film is. And I think that if most people actually read the book, they would definitely agree that the book is so much better than the movie

Just wanted to add on here. Frankie, I really love short stories. And Homegoing is actually like it's kind of built like a whole bunch of short stories because each chapter is one person person down the generations. And so it's short stories about their lives. And then once their chapters over, sometimes other chapters will refer back to them. But it's a completely different stories. And so it is really like a book comprised of a bunch of different choices, short stories

Where the Crawdads sing!

And I read it twice this summer because I was in Montana, and I finished it once and then I ready to get in Texas because it's just such a good book. So I definitely recommend that book. It's a really good mystery ending, and there's a big twist and yeah, and a phenomenal book, so definitely recommend checking that book out

And yeah, I really should have looked back up on this book beforehand, but maybe this is better because then if you read this, it's a total surprise. But I remember reading this book and the volume Love With It, and I have a hard time like getting engaged with books. And this one is not hard for me. So I highly recommend

FAVORITE BOOK @chlomonsta

And I will attach a picture to my little swell because the one day when I was volunteering at a marriage in Zimbabwe, I had to go onto this little boat and into a little Marsh, and we were cutting grass and stuff. But I felt like I was Kaya or Kia. I don't know, Kaya, I think, but it is my favorite book, and I've read it two times as well. And it's such an excellent book

I did a swell about this book, actually, because I wanted to just sing the praises of how the writer writes about food and about intimacy and sex and just how gorgeous it is and literally a character makes a cake towards the start of the book, and you're just there with her the entire time that she's making this cake. It's just such beautiful food writing
