What stories of your life do you focus on?

So thank you so much again Shauna, for inviting me to Swell. So I just wanted to take a really quick moment this morning to talk about something that has been on my mind on and off throughout several years now. And it's basically about the stories that we tell, maybe not only publicly, but the stories that we focus on regarding our own life and our past in our lives

Hey, welcome to swell. It's really nice to hear that people are recommending it to their friends because I have to a couple of my friends as well. And it's really nice to kind of enter this new context and have conversations like these that you maybe wouldn't normally have. I think that's pretty special. But I really like this question that you're asking because it can really affect the way that you move around the world

Yeah, I got made fun of a lot growing up because I was always just the skinny blonde kid, quiet blonde kid. But I wasn't quiet until you got to know me. Then people realized how much of a weirdo I actually am. But yeah, you can always change yourself. You can always be someone else whenever you move. And I think that's kind of an amazing thing

M.E.! Bubby?! Welcome! What do we do with our old stories? #oldstories #lessonslearned

I have regret and also what in me kept me from doing that and what could I have done to meet him for this date after high school? That's something to process. There's also this other opportunity to just have a better understanding of what it means to be human. Right. It's not about perfection. I think you somewhat alluded to this. Maybe you found your childhood challenging

And for me, I think it has a lot to do with being inspired by things that are happening more in the current form of my life than in the past. And just looking at the stories I'm creating on a daily basis, the experience I'm living into, and those help me kind of figure out my new story book and pull from those new pages because we're always going to be a result of what happened to us or what things that we experience
