When was the last time you argued a point online?
Nothing is more pathetic than people who argue on the Internet. That's usually the same, right. But I see a lot of people arguing all the time, and it's very fascinating to me against one's better judgment, that they still proceed to argue anyway, sometimes to their benefit, sometimes against their benefit

So it seems that people are spending most of their lives on the internet. Think about it the last, I don't know, two years because of COVID. That's where we connected. So the the human spirit is one that I think is craving connection. And inside that connection, there's bound to be disharmony. Right. So let's just start there. Where we live is where we come forward with who we are

I'm not going to argue with somebody who has a mentality of a five year old. You can waste a couple of hours of your life trying to argued a point online. You can use your time more usefully and being productive. Just my opinion, professor, 42 out

Deborah and professor 42, thank you so much for responding to this swell and interesting dynamics at play in terms of how you handle conflict online and the arena that takes place when you are in the processes of talking about whatever it is online. And, Deborah, with your situation, it must be very interesting because it's a medium that's online, right? Digital
I use that as a term more broadly to describe a particular type of person on the Internet, and I'll get there in a second. I used to do this a lot more when I was younger nowadays, culturally on the Internet. When I see arguments, I assume that they're being perpetrated by one of two types of people. Either you have your run of the mill troll, or and I'm going to say something potentially controversial here

I don't argue in my regular life, like I've had arguments, but arguing is just not my makeup. It's not something I'm interested in doing. So I'm not going to argue with people I love in the actual real world. So I'm definitely not going to be arguing with people that are just online strangers. Something professor 42, said, even if you do try to make your point, people get locked in their narrative. And some people just want to argue

That is, at times it could be fun to be this avatar of yourself who, if your family and friends listen to you or read the stuff you post, it would be like, what? What is this and you're like, oh, no, it's just the Internet. Yeah. Arguments that have taken place with me. Funny enough, Taylor, are reasons there, but there's a fourth one there

I like that you were like, you're like doing your swell, you're broadcasting. And also like, real real life is happening. That was I enjoyed that. And I have to listen to Taylor's response. I think it must have came after mine or something thing, because that sounds very interesting about the personality types of and I think that's true. The expert about nothing and the wall. And then I don't remember the other one, but I'm going to listen right now

He's very charismatic, which goes along with what you said about facts, not really holding any weight whatsoever in an argument. It's really your imposed will on the subject and your strong beliefs. And if you can pretty much convince somebody of something, then they might just follow you along with it. Now that I think of it more, let me use an example. Area 51
