A lot of people don't see marriage in their home life, in their family life, and in their institutions that they may be a part of, whether that's in the church or in their universities or wherever they may find themselves. Marriage is not something that is highly valuable in today's time, or at least that's what they'll have you believe, even though we know that marriage is an institution and it's not going anywhere

Rescue yourself. Use that cape on yourself. Get yourself the proper help and use the proper tools to get yourself from that space of being codependent and being a savior. And then you will attract a person who doesn't want to be saved and doesn't need saving and doesn't want to save you and just wants to love you and nurture you and care for you and spend their life with you. That is a place of growth and development. That is what marriage is for
