Cross Dressing Digest

So it's really interesting, like having to, because of the clothes that I wear, having to deal with that internal feeling of lack of confidence and lack of self assuredness and all of that. Anyway, thanks for listening. I call it a victory because I did it. I didn't wait in the car until that day. Douchebag went back to his Jeep

Like the black man who gets out of a car in a white neighborhood wondering who's going to be staring at him first. You know, the disabled person who wants to just be seen as a woman, but people are just seeing her disability. The list goes on. But you are giving voice to so many people by sharing this. And I just think you're just fabulous. And I'm so happy you've chosen this community to share with

But it's been really interesting to kind of as I come in to come approach my 50s as a straight white dude who likes to wear dresses and always has, I guess I'm starting to feel like I can communicate a little more about it and reach out with people. And I do think that it applies to other people who don't feel like they live a mainstream experience

And it's just like, man, I would really like for you to not be this way, but I can tell that you're never going to get it. So then you just have to tell yourself, like, hey, at least this guy didn't hurt me. He didn't say anything to me. And it was basically a neutral conversion with each other, which I think for a lot of us is positive, too

It's transforming others too, because they have to confront the conflict between you having a beard, you having the physical body structure of a man, and then you presenting with feminine clothes. And that's an internal struggle that they have to figure out in their own minds and hopefully eventually come to an acceptance of that. Gender is way beyond this f***** up construct of man and woman and the constructs within those two binary identities

His response, and that's why I'm replying to Jesse's, I thought was so gracious and really wonderful and complimentary to what you shared with us. Yeah, if you choose to do this again just like that, just with an era of confidence and grace, that you're just going about your business. Anyway, I guess that's all have. Thanks again for sharing

I've always been this way, but I consider myself to be a gender fluid man. I'm a you know, I would say that I I don't identify I haven't identified as queer, but I don't I don't think that's a wrong description either. I don't have any no labels offend me like that. So I appreciate that you feel like I am part of that community and part of that group, because I certainly feel like I am

We desperately need to get back to this concept of curiosity and finding something that's outside of ourselves. I love that trans performer whose name escapes me right now who said, how many versions of you are there? Are there one? Are there five? Are there ten? Are there 100? Are there a million? That, to me, distills so much of the truth of what it is to be alive
