Not your typical Heart Attack part 1

So he was assessing my husband, trying to figure out what was happening. As we rolled him over, he was breathing, like a very shallow breathing, and he thought, well, maybe he's having a seizure. So he said, Roll him over on his side, which we did. But once we did that, his breathing just stopped. So we rolled him back, put him back on his back, and he started to do chest compressions

But found out through all of this that his biological father, whom he was not raised with or did not really know very much about, had heart disease. His sister had had to have open heart surgery at the age that my husband is now, so at the age of 51, which has now been she's 53, 54. But anyway, found all of this out while going through the process, but found out he was going to need a quadruple bypass

@Wrightsonia

It kills more women than men and it's the number one killer of women actually more than cancer, heart disease, and it doesn't go checked. So I'm so appreciative and I'm just so sorry that this happened and yet I'm so grateful that it did happen so that he was able to get the medical assistance he needs to not let it happen again. And he's probably more free now and probably less tired ultimately

#Are you getting good healthcare

How many of us research our doctors and hold them accountable to our health? Like, it's not just us. Yes. A lot of times now, the doctors just want to time you and push you out. Yeah, you're here for this. They want to push you out the door so they can get the other person in. And I am in the process of just really checking my doctor and doing my homework and seeing are they checking this and asking the questions?
