The struggling Artist

article image placeholderUploaded by @wilshine729
A lot of artists is just pain in their house and they're content to that degree. Me, I'll never be content with that degree. I'm trying to be the best I can be at what I'm doing, and I need to have it displayed for people to see and enjoy and to buy. Eventually. It's all about buying my art so I can sustain my living. So I can also see that the roots of my labor have reached people

So drop us into the process of your style and what you you're very graphic in terms of graphic design. It feels very you're into geometry, specifically, like, the way you use lines and circles and colors. It's so defined. It reminds me of the basic graphic designs that we know of in the last 50 years of computer work, and yet your work is not computerized. So I kind of want to drop into the style that you use to express your innermost feelings

Back then in the there was no cameras, there was no phones. So you could imagine what we went through as an inner city kid. But they didn't want our culture to rise. They don't want nothing to happen. Their whole plan was like, isolate, demolish, destroy the whole community. That's why we were, like, forgotten. And then God stepped in and gave us hip hop. And I mean, like hip hop totally. Not just rap music

Hey, Will. Yeah? I really, really respect and appreciate your relationship to that title. Listen, I think I think life in its most raw forum is being just so in touch with the human experience and submitting yourself and subjecting yourself to all that raw force. Sometimes it beats you down, sometimes it lifts you up. And when you're an artist, you are surrendering because you know that's where your muse live in that experience. And I get it. I really do, profoundly

So I put hip hop music, and then I kind of, like, have my art on high speed, and I do, like, these little movements, which are cool, and they're starting to pick up. So, yeah, it's amazing what I see coming out of me. Like, I didn't even know I had all this in me. Like I said, I haven't painted in nine years
