Being a people pleaser!
So by the time that person gets to you, you never know what the challenges that they've been through by the time you encounter them. So in the hospitality industry, running a hotel and a remote location, it's pretty much by the time that guest gets to you, they've been through. It could have been a road trip or train ride, bus ride, or a flight. So that flight could have been delayed, it could have been canceled

You. Good morning, weekend nerd. I just listened to your piece on being a people pleaser, and I think it's really fascinating that you're a psychology major, a degree in psychology, and you're in the hotel industry, travel industry. I think that's really cool. I've never really thought about how that would be beneficial for someone who works in that industry, so that's really cool
It. So that is a great question. I found myself for many, many years on the family side as well. I am that go to person when people need advice or when people need to figure out anything. Like if they wanted to take a trip, what's the best hotels to stay at, what, rental cars? Any discounts available? And I mean just anything. Like when they having issues with their teenage kids
Also, to be content, you sound content, you sound confident, and I know that you experience success with the things that you do because of how well you understand the things that matter to people and how you can put yourself in the shoes of a rough travel and all that that you broke down, I think is really a gift. And I'm super stoked that you found a profession that complements your ability to read, support and assist people
