how do you find books to read?

Just not necessarily tired, but I'm going to get bored of repeating like a similar pattern that I'm just going to want different ones. So I was just wondering where you all get your book wrecks and things like that. I need to diversify my reading as well. I feel like I've been sticking to a certain genre a little too much recently and I like to usually I do check out other genres, but recently it's just been like not happening

Consider joining a book club, Facebook reader groups, bookish podcasts, BookTube, Bookstagram, BookTok

I also look at BookTube, which is book reviewers on YouTube, they call it BookTube. So usually they have really good book recommendation list and again across all genres. If you can find a YouTuber or Book tuber for that matter that resonates with you and has similar taste as you, then you'll find a lot of great book options. Also same with bookstagram and booktock. So bookstagram are book reviewers and book lovers that post on Instagram and Book Talk is the same for TikTok

I also just started giving myself some times where I would just go to the library and give myself a bunch of time to look around in a section that I've been recently enjoying. And it's nice to go, especially if you have a little bit of time because you kind of sit down and sample a couple of books. But I found some of the best books I feel like I've ever read just from the libraries

I get books from two places. I'm in a awesome book club, and we pick out 24 books for the year and we read two a month. And I read all of those, or I try to, because it gives me a way to read books that maybe I wouldn't choose in other situations. And then the other thing I do is the Goodreads app, which is a great way to follow your friends, follow people that you respect, join online groups that make recommendations

I'm a big 'discover' fan on https://micro.blog

I tell you what, I've fallen into some really interesting rabbit holes with people's book collections, because if someone's deep into one area, chances are if they interest me in the area they're deep into, they have titles that I want to also read. So that's what I do. Books of books in libraries or home bookshelves and stores and then Microblog, the Discover Tab. I think other people have said good reads. Yeah, that works for me as well
