A funny thing happened at Arby’s today

Well today I go through the RBC a lot of times I go through the fast food and young people, they try to be negative but they're just not long on conversation. They're just doing what they have to do. Well there's young lady, she was nice to me that day. Well, as it would turn out that she come to the window and she opened it up and I did not recognize her but she recognized me and she said did you already get your drink?

And that is one of those moments when I have to say you feel invisible and then you realize you're not. And the fact that she remembered you and you connected, I mean, isn't that the basis of all good customer service? We miss that because so many things are computerized. And here you have a chance us to get to know someone's face. She obviously got to know yours. She cared enough to ask you. And I get it

I just want to reach out and thank you for your response. It was warm, it was thoughtful, it was insightful, and it was a far better experience than has been what my experience on social media has been as of late. So thank you again and have a great day. And you have possibly set the cornerstone for me putting out more swells. So thanks again

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm glad that it brought a smile to your face and I I am so happy that you responded. Thank you so much. Your response brought a smile to my face so and again, as I've told someone and else, your response is such a far better experience than what I've had on other social media platforms as of late, and so I just want to express my gratitude for that

Hello there, Van. Welcome to Swell, and thank you for sharing your story. I really enjoyed it. I just want to say I really enjoy your accent and listening to your voice and just you could be talking about anything. I think I would enjoy it. And you yeah, that's pretty funny. Like Deborah's, like, oh, I hope you haven't ruined your car there with the Coke. You mentioned that you spend a lot of time on the road for work or otherwise

To answer your question about the oysters, I would love to indulge you. I think one of my main things I kind of want to be speaking to on well, as I learn to do it better, is aquaculture and oysters. And like you, I'm also a little bit of a split industry person. I work in the hospitality industry as well. But, yeah, I'm an oyster farmer only a year into it

I'm familiar with Long Island, but I'm familiar with Southampton, but I'm not that familiar that I can get a mental picture of Conic Bay and the area that you were mentioning. So I would not have thought you to be Australian. And it makes me question if I have some kind of media driven of what an Australian accent should sound like. Perhaps you can

If any biofouling or mud from the bottom of the water, it gives them a tumble. Meaning you turn them around in a little cage, and that gives them a little haircut. And then you either put them back in the water to continue growing, or you harvest them. Now, you're not alone then. A lot of people either don't like raw oysters it's a raw food that's understandable. Or they don't eat them often
