Bob Wills - "Stay All Night"

article image placeholderUploaded by @Ukecurious
Hey, today I'm going to play a little bit of Bob. The Bob Wills and his Texas playboy song. Stay all night. Stay a little longer. I think it's important to acknowledge, though, where music comes from, and they recorded this song in 1946, and it's attributed to Bob Wills and Tommy Duncan. But the lyrics, at the very least, were mostly lifted from folk songs that had deep roots in black America

Anyway, I did a little cover album because I wanted to, and it's on Spotify and it's uke based. One take, one voice. And I miss playing ukulele. I don't play it enough. I think I've lost so much of my, ah, chord structure that was doing some really cool stuff and you're just shaming me back into it in a really loving way because hearing it is so contagious

Nice to talk to you. I've been doing this project mostly through Facebook and other places called 100 Days of Ukulele Project and I think it was started by teacher Cynthia Lin. But I've been doing it for a few years now and as a result, I have just like accumulated a ton of recordings of me playing the Ukulele. And so I share them in various places. And I started is playing with this app and I thought I'd give it a try and see what it's like
