I'll be honest here. My favorite is Destiny of the Republic, Candice Malaria, 2011 portrait, and I listen to the Penguin Random House audio version read by Paul Michael he does an excellent job, really gripping story about that summer in 1881 with Cotton's assassination attempt on Garfield. And I think it's just a really well told story, even though it's interesting that Kato didn't succeed in the assassination

The Death Of A President, Walt Brown's Chronology.

Hello, Rob Milton here. I actually like very much William Manchester's death of other President. I don't necessarily agree with the conclusion inclusion re Oswald, but I don't think that's the point of that book. I think what it's very good at is detailing that small chronology from the 20th to the 25th and doing it in a very readable, well written way

And if you don't mind and your great kindness again, I'd like to throw a couple of old school books in there and actually got onto this after listening to your podcast titled The Ballot of Larry Craffford and went on to two books by Joaquin Josting or as most of my Redneck Yegy friends down here in Texas would probably say, Hawaii Josting. But regardless, those two books, man, one of them was Oswald Other truth. And then the other one was Oswald assassin or Fall guy
