So for parts work, what we do is we sit in therapy and we compartmentalize the different parts of us so that only one part is talking at a time. Most of the time in day to day life, people will be combining their parts inside of them, and both parts will be talking at the same time. Essentially, it's like being at a party where a bunch of people are talking at once and it gets very noisy inside your head. It might look kind of like this
