Through the hard times. You'll lose your intuition. You'll lose connection with yourself. You will become robotic, almost not humanlike. You will start to do to others what you did to yourself. For example, you will start to gaslight shame, avoid and dismiss other people's pain because that's what you did to yours. Now, I doubt that you want those things to happen, so this is why it is so important to actually process, feel, integrate, and metabolize our pain
