Often when we get triggered, it has less to do with that individual anyway, what they said to us or what they did, and almost always has more to do with the people who hurt us in our past. Now, remember that the anger we're feeling inside is not usually due to this situation as much as it's reminding us of a pain from our past. That's where the anger is really coming from. Often we are reacting and or misinterpreting the actual moment
