Hey, Gary. First of all, I'm so happy you had the weekend with your kid. That's amazing. You must feel so full up right now. I can't even imagine. And the trials of being on the street and acclimating to a whole new city and not having family support. It's all stuff that can break us down, but can build us up

And now that I have found it, it has filled me up in so many ways that I just want to tell the world about it. I see why I went through the things that I went through, and it has made me stronger. There were days where I thought I wasn't going to make it. And let me tell you, there were days where I really wanted to end it all

You can go into any temporary shelter, but as a permanent shelter, one where you know you have a bed, will be very difficult. Now, the temporary side is pretty much called the overflow. It is for those people that do not have a permanent bed and all of those who just need a bed for the night or who have yet to receive a permanent bed. Right. I was working the entire time. I actually had to quit my second job because of the situation

I see why I was put to go through the thing that I had to go through. So that is really interesting for me. I see why I had to do all of that. And now I have a story to tell and it's all about spiritual growth and growth in general, right? You're not supposed to be who you are last year. You're not supposed to be who you were yesterday. It's supposed to grow and change

I remember, man, I remember really crying, f****** having to go to Planet Fitness to take a freaking shower and s***. Here I was taking cold showers with a freaking rag in the bathroom of my job because I didn't want to smell. And little did that did not help at all. It made me even more anxious and made me worry more, and I'm pretty sure I smelled more
