Indian Schools Stay Closed, and Hopes Fade for a Lost Generation

article image placeholder4/10 students in India are unable to go online
Hi Swal. This is Tita Today morning. I was reading the news and I came across this article in the New York Times. It talked about how many underprivileged children in India have forgotten the Alphabet or even what their classrooms look like. And others have dropped out entirely, desperately looking for work and they're unlikely to ever resume their studies. And this is happening at a mind blowing rate. The sad thing is, for years India had been counting on a demographic dividend

The title is the same as the NYT article that gave me an insight on this issue. Pls Donate!!- https://s.swell.life/SSvoomyhp38WG1D

And I know with online classes, even normal people with the sufficient devices and everything education has said, like online learning, education hasn't stopped. But also in a sense it has because Google is always there, not doing test. But I don't know. I feel like children students have become so dependent. The ones that do have online classes going on and they do attend and stuff, they become so dependent on Google and all of that for their education and not even their teachers
