Lesson 1 Question for the instructor...

article image placeholderLesson 1 | Acknowledge Your Courage
Hey, teacher. Or should I say senpai? So I have a question. I'm new to public speaking, but I am an educator, and I talk a lot to all walks of life. Scatterbrained. And I've come across a unique meditation that I'd like to ask you because it's a question. As a public speaker, what should I focus on the most? Should I focus on style and delivery, or should I focus on vocabulary and timing?

Darrain is an awesome name, and you’re right to be proud of it.

I just think it's a cute name. And I can tell by your mom giving you that name that you're her, like, cuddle bug, right? You're her little man. No matter how old you are, you'll always be your mom's little man. And I've got one of those myself, so definitely feel that. But it's really great. I love the input that you have on the other swell cast as well

But when it comes to, like, these lessons, I think I want to try to do them all really soon, because I might help people. And I'm glad you're interested, and I'll be sure to listen to you as well as always. Later

Hey, Darian. It's interesting questions about delivery and focus and timing and vocabulary. I think you should focus on what you're talking about and coming from a place of excitement, because that's where everything happens in your intention. So don't think too much about the differences between those things you bring up, but try to think about them before you start speaking, but make sure that, you know, it's a balance. I wouldn't wait either of them

Because my entire life has been so peculiar. I spent most of my life defending what I loved. Even when it came to what I started to, like, practice playing. Like, it was always like, real time strategy games, such as Sid meier civilization or Starcraft or just something like that, where it's like, even like, Final Fantasy tactics on Game Boy advance, it was always some type of strategy game
