RIP Paul Reubens, aka Pee Wee Herman #AudioMemorial

article image placeholderPaul Reubens, actor best known as Pee-wee Herman, dies at 70
And Paul Rubens as an actor has been in some of my favorite movies, playing some of my favorite characters in some of those movies. I think of him in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, the Spleen in Mystery Men, if you haven't seen that, one of the first superhero ensemble films so funny. And of course, Locke in the Nightmare Before Christmas character that he has revived at the live Nightmare Before Christmas performances in Hollywood each year

And the thing about it is, if any of today's kids even remotely like some of the stuff that was really funny for that time period, it might be corny to their standards because we got so much god awful stuff out there on the web to where the kids sense of funny is not my sense of funny. It's very horrific in some cases, and it's just downright crazy. But anyway, thanks for sharing this audio memorial and be safe out there

I followed him on instagram, and today was such a sad day for what they published and his own apology for not coming out with his cancer and not wanting to. And god bless him for doing anything he wanted to do. But anyway just really a deep moment for all of us. And taylor thank you for moralizing him here

Even though the 90s had good music and they had some messed up lyrics and things going on that just kind of killed everybody in the that's just my opinion because it's true. Look where we are now. But anyway, that's another subject. But anyway, I just wanted to tell you, Deborah and Taylor, thanks for putting this, you know, this dedication to Pete Wee and y'all have yourself a great day

And there is so much creativity throughout this film and so much of what would become sort of textbook trademark Tim Burton creativity. And you could see know it was very much so Tim Burton, but it was him kind of finding himself almost as a director and as a stylist and all of these things. And I really admire how much of what we know of Tim Burton is in this first picture that he did

@SeanGTRHarrold excuse me...scuse me...scuse me

And over the past couple of days, I've also been thinking about the movie, and I've been thinking about there's been some things that I have incorporated into my life that were from that movie that I don't even really think about anymore. And I can't say that I know the entire movie at heart, but the bar scene where he does his famous dance here, I'm reminded that he shushed everybody on the phone
