Over 13 HBCUs receive bomb threats on the first day of Black History Month

Critical race theory also helps those of us that maybe have had a hard time looking at life through the lens of another person's eyes walking in their shoes. And it helps you establish a basis for which to continue to learn and continue to understand how other people go about their lives over the last four years. And I focus on that because politically we've seen a lot happen, maybe a little more than four years. I have seen on the Internet a lot

And all the books are either about stories of LGBTQ kids or like human sexuality, like healthy development when our kids develop healthy and understand your body and your feelings. Or it's one of those like a relationship between a Mexican girl, a black guy, one's a love story with an Asian character. I was just like, wow, this is very and then it lists kind of like because some of the people put the reasons why they didn't want that book in their school or African Americans

But I feel like it has to start at home and like what people are learning in their homes and getting passed down through generations. I think that has to be something to be talked about because it just really doesn't make sense. We've come so far, yet we're still centuries behind. I feel like it's just ridiculous. I have no words

It’s the American way.

Now, luckily, no one was hurt physically, but emotionally, some of us are scarred, but emotionally, some of us are just reminded of how things have always been. I think in a way, it brings a lot of attention to Black History Month unbeknownst to their best efforts to thrott said celebrations because it reinforces why America has its racial issues and why Blacks continue to be marginalized. So they are inadvertently strengthening the cause of unity by division and hate

It is indeed of a low vibration

Hey everybody, thanks for your responses. I just got done listening to you all. And I have to say that I think Windowan says it is a vibration that is low. He is very spot on. I don't really know what I can add that you all haven't added already. All I can do is, I guess, continue to talk about these things with people that might find it uncomfortable subject to talk about

And the work that must be done is continually questioning those systems of power and ways of seeing and any thoughts around scarcity that contribute to so much of the violence and hate that we're continuing to see thrive in the midst of a global pandemic that has shown all of us just how deeply vulnerable and interconnected we are, whether or not we would like to be
