Juneteenth and what it should be about

Our united thoughts, words and actions should continue to reflect love and purpose. Remember, June 10 is a federal holiday thanks to Joe Biden, who actually signed it into being in the 2021. But sit back and talk about it with your friends and family. Too many people don't know about June 19. It's just not another day. It's a day of freedom, of joy, of knowing that a people who has been oppressed has have gotten something that was needed

If you have a voice, use it and speak up and find your truth. And it's so beautiful for when people through this process find their pride, because there's nothing like walking through life with pride. It's so important. And I just appreciate your voice here a lot. Thank you so much

You're. Good morning. You are on point about Juneteenth, and it so happened I just finished doing a little bit of my contribution to Swell and some audio and links and pictures and stuff here, and I went ahead and repurposed it on my Twitter page as well. So hit the link at your leisure. And I just wanted to thank you for your audio contributions about June 10 today. You have yourself a wonderful day. Bye

Hi, Penelope. Thank you so much for posting this and for your incredibly important message. I wanted to reply here because I feel like the importance of this day for the country that we're living in right now, it needs to be acknowledged as much as possible and by as many people as possible. We need to really make sure that we continue to elevate this day in terms of national recognition and also elevate the conversations that are happening both during the Juneteen th week but also throughout the year. Right

And that is not the way to collectively move forward as a group, as a country, as a city, as a state, whatever you want to call it. So anyways, I'll wrap up. I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. I agree, greatly appreciated, and I hope to hear from you soon

Book to tell you something's wrong. You just have to be black in America, and you see it every day. You see it in your workplace. You see it when you go out. You see the disparity. Black people don't have a chance. And it's like a struggle every single day to be black in America. Now, people may say, oh, that's inferior have come so far. Yes, we have
