All you have to do is create a Swell video from one of your Swells and share it with the Swell social team. Throughout the week, we will be featuring the best videos on our socials. Now, a couple tips to help make the most of the video sharing feature are coming your way, so listen closely. First, share multiple photos to make the video as dynamic as possible. You. Hi, Taylor. Thanks so much for all that information. I've been watching the Swell cast on how to go about doing this, and I'm just left with a few questions that I thought maybe I could pose here. I wanted to know if there was a way to upload a Swell cast of a video that would sequence with my voice so that I would be able to relay a story in that Swell cast and use that video to help comprehend the story, if you will

So I want to first see if I understand this correctly and then if I don't, we'll definitely get down to the bottom of this for you. I want to make sure that you have a clear answer once you leave this swell. So it looks like you want to have images that go along with the story that you're telling in your swell cast
I think that would be my backup plan if I cannot do it in the way I had hoped, which I tagged Christine on this discussion because her and I have been going back and forth on it and she's given me some great advice. So I think I'm ready to present it to you guys to see if this were a possibility as opposed to your suggestion. Could I create the video on another app entirely like Canva or Christine recommended in Shot
I don't I don't know if this makes it any clearer, but yeah, that that I'm trying. It's not easy without being able to show the about being able to show things
You. Thanks, Christine. No, I think I got your point. I think what you were saying is to do the whole thing in in shot with the voiceover just as practice, and then do my voice when I upload the videos to Swell, like I would traditionally do it through Swell. I think that's what what you're saying. And yes, that makes sense. Sorry. Haven't been on the app that long, so I'm still trying to figure this stuff out
Not exactly, but I think that could work, too. You could use the voiceover option. When you're done, strip the audio back out of the video, save the video, and then upload the video to Swell. I've offered more in our messages that may offer some more clarity

Hey, this is a wonderful question. So with the video creator that you have in the app, the images are not going to be completely in sync with your voice. Now, if you choose an 80 minutes audio snippet and if you put eight images in in, you can be assured that each image will be shown for an equal period of time. So you can see what that is. So that's one way to hack around this

I just tried the new video feature thing and just wanted to say that I think it's a neat idea. I clipped the part that I wanted. I used four images, and I picked, like, that bird audio and the exporting notification. Everything is super clear, so I really appreciate how easy it is. I just tried exporting my first video. Let's see how it goes. Yay. Thank you so much
Instead of the videos, my suggestion is to stay in the radio social media niche and instead of I like that you can share a picture and a description and tag along with your audio. And I think that's great. I think up to five minutes is pretty good. Previous little apps that I've seen cut it out at 90 seconds. So five minutes is good for the sort of mini podcast kind of thing
So extract the audio and then stitch the audios together, remove the sections that I really didn't want to. So if that is an option that Swell can bring in sooner or later, sometime in future, that will be amazing. But I have done that and I'm leaving a link for our YouTube video that I have created using Swell through the week. I think even before the week started, I had already started creating a lot of Swell videos using different options

I have also added another link, which is an sample of how I have extracted a very small two to three live audio from one of the Swell recordings and extracted that audio and added it to a video and created a renee out of it. So I've done that as well, and that's the example that you can see in the link. So I'm loving this creativity

Because two audios one was, I think, 30 seconds long, and the second one, I thought maybe because I blabbed for too long, the audio was like, no, no, lady, you're speaking too much. And so this time, I tried doing 10 seconds, and the choppy birds, the audio soundtrack, they didn't become a part of the final expert
Also, I have another suggestion and it's for the app for there to be ability to upload your own audio. That's up to five minutes. Of course, some of us are hardcore audio nerds and have our own equipment, so to be able to record and upload high quality audio up to five minutes would be great. Instead of just having to record it it over the phone all the time. Just an option for it to be available

Hey, Miss Genesis, thank you for your question suggestion. This is by design. Once we have people uploading audio, then we're getting into an area where you're not sure the source of that audio and you're not sure the integrity of the audio. And it might be somebody else posing as somebody else. I think knowing people's voices is extremely important

So let me send this over to the product team and see what's going on. To be very specific, you're saying that you couldn't hear it or it was disjointed? I think you said a couple of things

The background in the back, my voice is pretty clear and that has not been tempered with at all. Yes, and I don't know whether this is important or not, but I always add some extra images and I also change the text that is displayed in the animation a little bit because I stammer and yammer and say some pointless things. Sometimes I remove that from the text. So I do edit those things as well

Hey, Bennett and everybody else, I just wanted to let you know that I think we've adjusted the volume on especially the birds, one and a few others, so your background should be more audible. Thank you for pointing this out. And I think Ariana had a suggestion that we probably allow users to set their own volume levels on the background. So we have taken that in as a product request. Thank you once again. Love that adjusting volume idea. It takes into account preferences. Maybe everyone has weird little preferences, and I think the more you guys accommodate those preferences, the more Swell want to be here. So thank you so much for that. Yay
The third feature I was thinking of is I was listening to this post by Geo Ryan's Niddin, and that post is basically an outcome of another topic that started the same topic that started on another Swell by someone who has the name as Fragrance. Ariana, thank you so much for, first of all, reporting the error that you're experiencing for drafts and also for your three suggestions. I think some of them really fit with our premium version that we might be coming out with at some point in the near future, but overall, it's helpful. This feedback is extraordinary and it just helps us create a product that really works for our community. Thank you
