And there are so many layers in terms of the central character and conversation between that character and the so called party, which kind of makes me feel like this is a pure political, propaganda based story by going into the context of when it was written right after the World War II, somewhere on those years. It speaks volumes about the imagination of the author and his own personal beliefs, political beliefs I would say. However, it is much more than politics

It says make orwell fiction again. And it's sitting here right now. I'm looking at it and I use it as my coaster. And it reminds me that we all need to pray for a change. But social media really has been a twist that I don't think orwell visualized when he was creating this world
1984 is happening now, and that's what makes it such a great book. And that's why it was a bestseller here not too long ago. I don't know if it is or not now, but it was a short time ago. It is not a cult book. It is not propaganda. It is a story about when it was written. It was a story about what could happen in America if we allow America to become what it is now. And we have allowed that to happen
