I'm from a place where the sun don't shine unless you make it, where rats jump over your body while you try to sleep mattresses piled on top each other constantly being flipped from your cousin's peak where men man and Nay Nay lived across the street and Big Mama always in some beef from the block with the candy lady, who also sold sweet tea, frozen cups and ice cream. I had one mixed girl and one white girl on my street
