So this week, there was a situation that most of us are aware of. Five days ago, a young man, DeMar Hamlin, was in a collision with another player, Higgins, during a Buffalo Bills game. DeMar Hamlin, his heart was hit at the right spot, at the right beat, and it caused him to go into cardiac arrest. He collapsed on the field, and he was breathless on that field

But most of our time should be spent in this space of gratitude and using words, because every single utterance of a word for me is a prayer. I used to have this thought, and that's my evolution of my prayer life. I used to have this thought that I have to specifically be on my knees or laid prostrate out before God to speak and be heard. And there are times that I do that, but this is a relationship, and I'm intimate with my Heavenly Father

It's just amazing how many miracles and beautiful things are happening through the power of prayer. And it's very important for people to understand that. I know that when I started sharing years ago on Facebook and other social media, I had a friend who I had several people actually, who always message me and ask me for prayer. And people who are not even prayerful people or spiritual people or maybe necessarily believe in God have asked me for prayer because they know how powerful it is

But I love what you said in response. Yes, we have to be thankful for what God has done for us already. He is in our heart, and he is building our hearts, and he does answer prayers all the time. So I appreciate you listening to my podcast. I have a real strong faith, too, and I love it because when friends do find themselves in difficult situations, they do reach out to me for inspiration, and they do reach out for me for prayer
