Rediscovering me!

article image placeholderUploaded by @shantishahara
I was ready and motivated, and I'm like, what is the one thing? What is one thing? Anyway, after that, I started to slide into depression, but it was unlike anything I have ever felt before. It felt like true darkness. And I say that because I think in this society, we were too quick to say depression, anxiety. We think we know what it is until we truly face it. And I had always thought I had been depressed in my life

You. Wow, that is a big journey you took. And finding yourself at the end of that must have been such a bright moment. It's amazing that you were told your brain is the way it is, that it can create such darkness with its own power, that you have that same power to create light. And that's really such a life lesson that we, most of the things that happen are in our heads. And it sounds trite, but it's actually huge

You. Thank you so much for the welcome in the listen. I appreciate it so much. It took a minute to be able to be comfortable, to speak on such things that the collective would deem unworthy or embarrassing or something to be hidden. But it's the generations of silence that perpetuates dysfunction, in my humble opinion. And so the one thing that we can do is share our experiences
