And then the next one we're looking at, okay, if we could wave a wand and suddenly have an alternate reality and there were no political parties, no political platforms, how would we determine candidates? Now in this one, I want to look at the actual functioning of government. In some ways, I don't see it as being super different than it is now, but it wouldn't have the parties

And on a micro level, this scenario you're painting, it would obviously work because it's small enough for those to be common themes that everyone is concerned about at the same level, because it's all affecting everybody. When you get to a macro level, some people aren't affected by the issues you're asking people to vote on, so they don't care about them. Some people are dying literally because of the issues you're voting on, and they have everything to lose

So the only real difference was that there would be no parties in my mind, I wasn't envisioning that the entire country would vote on the water plant issue, that this would be more local. And of course, if there was ability to have assistance from the state level and from the federal level, then it would be available. And then if it was a federal issue like the topics of guns or abortion, et cetera, then that's where something like that would be voted on

Oh. So what I was saying was that the micro level works fine because there's common there's common issues, common problems. Column, column. Column. Common culture. Okay. I'm watering my plants. So the common culture or helps sort of inform these agreements people have. But when you have a macro government imposing ideas, you don't want to call the government

@DBPardes

Thank you. Now. Now I understand. But I'm curious. I wonder if like, the the polar opposites and how far apart people are on these particular issues if they wouldn't be so so disparate. It's a it's said a word. It sounds weird coming out of my mouth, but if there weren't political parties, we will never know. But it's an interesting thing to contemplate. Thank you very much. You're
