#CollageChallenge received & the baton passed on!

I love this so much. Thank you for the challenge, Row. The Collage challenge to sort of give you a glimpse, I guess you could say, into who we are by sharing a link, a photo and a question, only I've had difficulty narrowing down. So you're going to get two links, two songs, a photo and a question. And I don't know that I would say any of these are really definitive about who I am, but maybe they reveal facets

#CollageChallenge Thank you, @rocio! I tag: @Binati_Sheth @RensLens @Lokigen

So this first link is to a song that I absolutely love. The imagery that the lyrics create. I am terrible at catching lyrics, but this song was written and performed by a swell member's, Son georgia D's. Son wrote this song, and I just love the imagery from it. And and so I'm sharing it with all of you. It's catchy, it's fun. I don't know. I just love it

This is a song that was given to me on my release radar, playlist by Spotify. I don't know if you're familiar with that playlist, but it's created once a week for you based on songs you might like. And this one surprised me. It's like a fusion of First Nations. I kind of get Viking feels, kind of some Eastern instruments made be. I don't know. I love the feel of it and it's just really unique and I'm enjoying it

This is a twofer I'm giving you two links that I visit on a regular basis. Big, think and Freethink. These are websites that offer articles on the latest topics around science, technology, philosophy, a whole bunch of a variety of things. But I love it as sort of a springboard

Thank you, @GeorgieDee!

This is a photo from a walk I did the other day. And I was sharing photos and videos with Georgie D as I was taking that walk. She doesn't visit these parks very often, but I'm tagging her here nonetheless. And when I shared her this video of this random worm in the middle of the sidewalk, she says, there's a robin. And I was like, what are you talking about? There's a robin?

My question...

And lastly, my question to all of you. How do you exercise your imagination that part of the brain that begins to atrophy as we grow older and we're told, don't think silly thoughts. Don't play with your imagination. Be serious, be an adult. And now that we're adults, how do you exercise that muscle, that part of your brain? I'd love to know

@SeekingPlumb Keeping the creative imagination flowing

I am taking materials and just moving them around and visually trying to see what inspires me and what quote looks right. And then it's just serendipity to see what I can do. And oftentimes I will create things over several days. So I'll start an abstract art collage on one day and leave it for a few days and come back and kind of be surprised because I won't have remembered what I created and used my previous start as inspiration to do the middle or do the second phase

How fitting. Tim a collage for the collage. I was just thinking the other day how it would be nice to do this again when I was I wanted to find a photo to go with this particular swell. And just seeing all of the different ways that collages come to be or are created and the results and, yeah, it just made me want to delve back into that again

Well, first of all, Christina, thank you for participating in the Collage challenge, and I hope I hope it takes off, but this is a this is a great question, and maybe it's a bit unfair that I answer it. Because, like, the work that I do, that I'm trying to do in my life is creative. And I do work a lot on keeping my imagination and my creative thinking sharp
@SeekingPlumb

@rocio

But now I'm trying to it always works out better in my head, but I call them trashy doodles, where you put the pen down and I don't look at the page, and I scribble on it all over the place, moving my hand around or whatever. And then I'll open my eyes and I'll try to figure out, like, what can I see in this scribble? Can I see a face? Can I see a shapes?
@SeekingPlumb

@rocio

Also, I just wanted to say thank you for the bells. I know you didn't plan them or anything, but it was just nice to hear them in the background

I absolutely don't know how to do this, but I'm going to share a link love photo and a question, I believe. So the link is so this is like a star map. You can get stars and stuff AF if it interests you. I mean, I think it's interesting. So that's what I'm choosing to share. Yay
@SeekingPlumb

@Binati_Sheth

I had no idea that you had interest in the stars. I've already downloaded the app, and I can't wait to play with it. I've been reticent to download similar apps because I live in the city and there's too much light pollution, so I don't get to see much of anything. And I love the stars. I have since I was little. I wanted to be an astronaut, actually, when I was younger

This photo is a planetarium type thing I found in a historical ruin. And I was pleasantly surprised that something of this I mean, I have read it that Indian, Pundits, Indian, Brahmins, ancient Indian, when India wasn't even called India. We had so many different names, but essentially Indian subcontinent, so to speak, had places of this sort, like a planetarium of sorts, where people would just sit and stare at the stars

Okay, I love this so much it tickles my imagination. And there's so many times where I've thought now that it would be so pleasant if there were spaces that were dedicated to stargazing, let alone, you know, doing it more seriously or along the lines of of constellations or or studying the planets and so on

@SeekingPlumb Question: What is the favorite ice cream?

I think the question could be, what's your favorite ice cream flavor? Because I think that is one of the nicest questions to ask random people, in my opinion, because I don't know. People are oddly very passionate about the ice cream flavors they prefer. And the way people justify liking vanilla, I'm like, it's a good ice cream. You don't need to justify it. I like vanilla. Like, come on, it's okay
@SeekingPlumb

@Binati_Sheth

My favorite flavor of ice cream is mint chocolate chip. But because I have had to go dairy free, I haven't had it in years. From what I can find online, there are such things as dairy free mint chocolate chip ice cream in other places, but apparently not in Canada, or at least not my corner of Canada. And so I'm like pining for the next time I can actually have my favorite flavor of ice cream

Yes. This is such a fun challenge. I did not think it would be. All the responses, seeing what people choose. I think that the fun way to get to explore things that you absolutely didn't know about, so to speak
