Annoying things the society says to invalidate Mental health issues

article image placeholderInvalidate comments
They have a lot of money to take care of. They have stocks. They are stressed out. They have a lot of work to take care of. Definitely they have mental health issues. They can. And yes, they can afford therapy. But that doesn't mean that they cannot have mental health issues. This is so annoying to hear about mental health. Then the worst one, that a person that just means a person is that only crazy, insane mad people go to therapists

Loud and clear

Wow. This is a beautiful public service announcement. More than anything else, you have personalized it to your reaction to all this noise. And yet you come through with such a mandate for people to just feel what they feel and respect their gravity of how they're feeling and take actions to make themselves feel better. And we can't hear this enough. And I hear your rant. It's a beautiful, perfect rant. And I hope that we feel like there's a sea change

So why should I compare myself to someone who's in a more tougher position and say, oh, just because they are in a tougher position means I am fine. So I should be happy. It makes no sense. Right. So this is something I had to unlearn and it's okay to have all of these feelings, acknowledge them, deal with them and then move on. And yes, I think this particular reaction is a very Indian thing
