Music Knowledge

So I love music, but my swell cast is all over the damn place. But if you like me and you like music, and you like a wide range of music, because I'm putting a link to the Rooster Collins official hymn book on this. Well, you can go check it out and listen to it, but it's got eminem in it. Because I believe that all music is spiritual. Because all music comes from the source

Mind you, I don't know anything about music and had no musical capabilities, but ask me to do that now and I probably would not be able to. But music itself, the way you said it, reminded me of what my dad said many, many moons ago. He said, music comes from the source. It comes from the creator, it comes from God

I mean, I'm sure kids and teenagers will love it, but no lie, it literally uplifted me. It literally uplifted me. Another album that really, or should I say some other music that uplifted me was during the time that my husband and I had financial struggle. We listened to this gospel artist. What was his name? Donald Lawrence. His name is Donald Lawrence. He has an album, a gospel album called go get your life back. And that album got us through so much

But, you know, I love, like any day, all day, we can do Tupac and so many others. I love Mary J. Blige, I love Janet Jackson, so many others. But this particular one that I want to include is where I'm at right now. So I'm just going to leave a link to it. And I liked your playlist

It's 70s era, 80s era. And then I watched him perform, and he was like. He talked directly to the camera, talking to children at home. Hey, you church kids out there, I just want you to know, and he's talking to you like that. Lost the lost sheep. And I watched it, and it moved me to tears. And then I went and checked out his music, and his music is wildly good. It is incredibly good

REVIVAL!

This is another great song if you're in a spiritual mood. I don't know why they aren't playing songs like this in our church, getting us fired up. We need energy. We need energy, people. We need to have a revival. I double dog dare you to go put this song on right now and not feel it. Feel it inside of you. That Holy Spirit coming up, burning up. Let's have a revival

@RoosterCollins I love music too ❤️ #musiclover #life #fun #spirit #soul #connection #content #people

I love music, too. I always post, quite frequently, actually, on Facebook, where, like, I just don't even know where life would be or what life could be without music. It blows my mind when people are like, yeah, I don't really listen to music or I don't really dance. I'm just like, what I could tell you when there hasn't been a day where I haven't danced or listened to music, it I agree with you

I'm glad you like it. I definitely want to hear your music recommendations. So yeah, give me something to listen to. And I love it because you can break it down. I love a genre of music, but you just take a minute to think of a good song that affected your life or pulled you through something. If you could just share that song. Going to talk about it for three to 5 minutes. Yeah, I would listen to that. I would listen to

So I think the world sees me as a very excitable and happy go lucky person. I think I see myself a lot more serious and there's a lot more melancholy and a lot of sad thoughts and a lot more dark rooms than the bright house than I think that the world sees me as. So you might be shocked by my music choice. Maybe not. Let me know. Check it out, have some fun. And I totally agree. Music 1000% is life

And I think the more we celebrate that, the more we share that love connection, because that's our connection throughout all of time and space is our human manity has manifested through music and has brought us through the darkest times in our history. So spread the music, spread the love. That is the Rooster Collins motto

@RoosterCollins What do you think about? #listen #enjoy #culture

You. Hey, sir, what did you think about it? I love my tale of music. Some of my favorite people tell me I have excellent taste of music. I would say my biggest kind of call out to my music is because I love more cultural caribbean music than for some reason, I'm not quite sure, but a lot of caribbean music is like super hyper sexualized beats. So it's always like filthy and dirty and I'm okay with it

On Natasha, you have to remind me. You had an island upbringing, right? You had, like, jamaican parents, I believe. Yeah, I fell in love with it. It's caribbean. Like that kind of music. You have to develop a taste for it, and I had to develop it on the scene. Last year, I went to the British Virgin Islands, and I told you I met a Rastafarian. I learned what Rastafarian was all about

And after all that, the point of that story was, like, after that experience, hearing that music, dancing to that music in the British Virgin islands. Yeah, I'm digging this playlist. I love

You. That sounds like quite a bit of fun. I wish I could say I. I'm familiar with the experience of weed, but I am a jamaican American who has never smoked weed. I am only privy to the secondhand smoke of people around me in life. Even on the highway. I swear I can smell what weed smells like, but I have a very sensitive nose. But as they say, everything iri. So I imagine it is all good and all fun times. I imagine
