What has given you the most confidence in your life?

article image placeholderUploaded by @robes.radio
Every successful person you come across in your life, every person that you probably admire, has reached some level of confidence to get them to XYZ stage in their life or to the next step of a career, or to finally achieve that relationship they so much wanted in their lives. And now that I've dabbled into the world of career coaching and my work alongside photography and dance, confidence building has been something I have been working with my students and clients for many years

And if I look at the people I've loved over the years and the friendships that have lasted, that gives me the confidence to know that I've been in somebody's heart, that I've made an impact and that I've let them into mine. And that's my baseline measurement. Everything else feels less than interesting to me. I think this also is in deep contrast with how I used to feel looking for love through my music

Family Extended - More a lack of insecurity than an abundance of confidence.

For me, it has mostly been about extended family and the family structure. I always have said if if my parents died, I had people that would take me in probably on each side of the family, four or five times over. I had a good ten houses I could go to and they would take me in as my own. And beyond that I had people that weren't related to me that might be the same

Hi, Robes. Pierre. My greatest source of confidence, I would say, has to be my acceptance of failure, understanding that whatever it is I choose to embark upon on may not turn out how I want it to. I gain a lot of confidence from the acceptance that life is trial and error, understanding that when I do fail, that doesn't make me a failure. It means that there is something that I am misunderstanding and that there is a lesson to be learned

Hi Robes. I just happened to hear your Sweller podcast Narit now, and it posed me a lot of questions and the thing is that you articulated it so well and I just want to see to me, I'm at the prime of my life. Well, I'm in my sixty s and a lot has gone in my life

You. Hi. Your thoughts are so thought provoking, and it gave me a deeper understanding of how to look at failures. And of course, I have also been doing my own battles and coming out of it. Um, in most ways, sometimes you have to take a backstep and look at it and then move forward again, maybe again two steps backward and then go forward

There is no cheating confidence.

Like, when you're doing a dance move, you know, whether or not you completed it, you feel it, you can't lie to yourself. And so once you learn that skill or that movement, there's a sense of accomplishment that comes with it, and it's earned, right? So it's like the accumulation of those earned accomplishments just only adds to the confidence that you currently have

Hi, Mark. I think this is a great question. Basically, it gives me an opportunity to reflect and look back on the distance that I've come from on this journey. The one thing that has given me a lot of confidence in the last few years is education. Knowledge is power. And I love to I love to talk, I love to share my views and my opinions in a good and clean way

The encouragement and support I have received from people around me also played a huge role. When someone believes in you and tells you that you are doing great, it's like a confidence boost from the outside that starts to grow on the inside. And let's not forget about learning new things. Every time I have taken the time to learn new skill, whether it's trading or learning a new software or picking up a musical instrument, it's like adding another building block to my confidence

Whether that comes from identifying and accepting your failures, as some of you have mentioned. Whether that is your ability and confidence in how you relate to other people and the connections you make. For some of you it seems like music and creativity like myself with dance have been motivating factors for how you found your confidence. So thank you all so much for chiming in with your thoughts

My music is giving me the most confidence in life. https://s.swell.life/STpO8MEEOUhJTAU

You. I would have to say that the single most thing that has given me the most confidence in my life has been the music I write and perform. Whenever I get on the stage, I'm so confident, I am confrontational. And when the performance is over and I get off the stage, age. When I'm on the stage, everything is right. When I'm off the stage, everything's wrong
