Regain your joy

article image placeholderUploaded by @Resilienceislyf
Because we need to understand that happiness is a temporary fix to joy. Joy is what we strive to be. Joy is something we strive to achieve. That everlasting joy that just once you see that person makes you smile or just because you're alive for the day that gives you joy. For the joy of the Lord is your strength and your strength comes from the Lord. So do you know the difference between happiness and joy? Do you also strive to be joyful or do you settle for happy?

What a beautiful post. I love the semantic distinction. I would say that the two are brave braided together. I would love to be joyful just by virtue of its energy in that word and how powerful it is. Joy is such a my God, it's got such light to it. And when I feel joyful, I feel deep happiness. And what makes me joyful is the simplest things in the world. Good weather, playing outside, hanging with people
