Thoughts on songwriting, inspiration and originality
So I'm not sure I have too much other than I often will look for inspiration when I'm driving and dictate different ideas that will be lyrical concepts or theme concepts that and I find that doing so when I'm on the road, especially a long road trip, can really come up with some juicy stuff for a song. And I remember the process of that writing was so Catholic for me because I was so upset about seeing her every day. And at one point I didn't see her anymore. And it just told the story for itself. And I think that's using your imagination and not feeling like you're a reporter is very important. Know that you're like Walter Mitty, you could just see anything create the next step. So don't be anchored by reality
