Small Town Vibes

It used to be a city but they gave up that status, I don't know, early to mid 2000. I didn't read the reasons as to why but the reason for why me choosing this location was because of how close it was to major airports and other routes and means of transportation. Now I went to a local Facebook group and I asked certain questions like hey, who provides the broadband? Know what's daily life like and stuff like that

"We don't want you here" Why do small towns have this "No outsiders mentality"?

Because people recognize people, come in, try for a few years, leave people on my block, have been here 45 years, have been here four years. It's a really great affirmation that people can coexist. I do think that smaller towns that I spent time in an area called Haynes, Alaska, and in the winter, half the population, but they welcome people in the summer to come because they need the income, they need the support and the rentals

We're two weeks before closing, and the homeowner calls me. He says, hey, look, JL, I don't know. I'm getting people in my ear, and you've been very upfront and transparent, and it's been a pleasure working with you, but people are saying your contract is not legit and you're not supposed to be doing this, and so on and so forth

Then folks in that group told me about the Facebook investor groups and the local RIA groups to join. And majority of those folks, I'm the minority in those groups. Same culture, same flavor. Hey, you're an investor, I'm an investor. I know of this resource. If I know of it and I have it, then you know of it and you have it. You need a lawyer that's experienced with this. Here you go

But the analysis that I got from one of the people was that essentially they would like their property values to rise based off what somebody else is doing with their money and their purchasing power, which is interesting. So I don't know. I'm going to continue in on this journey and hopefully I reach a stage where I can find something else. I got one more thing that I have to do with my property and then everything will be done
