Observe More Speak Less

So most of you just know me as a swell caster who does the occasional swells. You don't know much about me, and if you don't know much about me, you may not realize that I do have a disability, but of course you wouldn't know it through swell. And that disability is hearing impairment. Now, when I was younger, I used to look at this as a huge disadvantage and always feel inadequate

Can this apply to ourselves?

But do you think it's also useful for us to observe ourselves more and not get caught up in our thoughts, I guess would be the equivalent of that with our relationship with ourselves. I'm curious what you think about that. And if you have learned anything from that

And all these things are really helpful, because I think body language just also shows what can't be spoken and what someone's feeling in a subconscious way that they don't even know their feelings. So it's not even about a choice. It's about sort of a deeper narrative that they're not even aware of yet. I did irritate myself a couple of years ago. I remember for something, and I watched my eyes kind of look up to the ceiling quite frequently when I was talking

And I think it was about two months ago that I caught on to that grinding my teeth is more associated for me with nervousness. And it took me having a day or two of feeling as though maybe I need to go to a dentist because I thought there was something wrong with my teeth for me to come to the conclusion that no, it's just me grinding my teeth subconsciously without even realizing it
