I Danny. I just want to thank you for posting this. It's just beautiful and just so strong and rhythmic and I don't know, just beautiful. Did you write this? I'm thinking you did because it sounds sort of familiar. But then I think you wrote it. Just let me know because I want to celebrate you more either case. And have you been a poet for a long time? Are you someone who found it in your path on life? Or did you take classes?

Yes, I did. I did write this piece in the 90s when I was in college. I used to do a TV show out of Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. And I did a TV show entitled Color Me Poetry. And I wrote this piece before that. And when I got the opportunity to do a show, I was trying to find a title for a show and I came up with Colored Me Poetry. And that's how that came about
