Hi Phil. I think that I agree with a lot of what you said here, but I also think that it's not that a lot of his followers don't get it, it's their absolute refusal to accept it. You can put every fact in the world in front of them and the they will just say, no, you're a liar, it's a witch hunt, and mimic what he says about all the things that are said about him

So, sure, he's the front runner right now in the Republican Party, but I think that in itself has more to do with the populace, with that segment of the populace, and the electorate that's willing to elevate this man and without regard to his past or anything else that's going on. I can remember in 1995, the same summer that my mom and dad were taking us to the drive in to see Joe Schumacher's Batman forever, he was involved in the stuffed crust pizza campaign for Pizza Hut. That was during the inception of that form of pizza on their menu. So him and his first wife were directly in those ad campaigns. So as I grew up, I just knew Donald Trump as a celebrity
