Starting a new business

I'm not interacting, but just listening. And I've been enjoying it. I really have. So I think it's a good thing. And I'm glad that I joined. So hopefully that I could grow from a lot of people's testimonies and information that they're putting on here, and hopefully that someone could grow from some of the things that I would have to share eventually. I hope everybody's day is going well. Mine is going well so far

Hey, Melissa, I wanted to connect with you about your courage to want to start a small business. And there are so many reasons for people to shy away from a dream or an instinct, because most people are encouraging a lot of structure, a lot of stability, and sometimes striking out on our own is really scary

And I'm speaking just as much to me as I am to you. I really put in probably like a good 6 hours of work today on my businesses because I was like, look, I'm already wildly successful. I'm just on the journey of witnessing it. And my witnessing it and experiencing it is up to me. I am the only person that can stop that train. So I'm on the journey to witnessing it

So good luck to you. You're going to need it. I'm just being honest with you. Opening your own business is not easy. This is our second time, second go round. One was a travel agency that we had, and this one is a computer programming type business. But whatever you decide to do or whatever you do, just remember, just like that young lady said to you, remember the why. Remember the why. Why you're doing this

So passions change over time and why not start with something that is applicable and that's implementable and go from there. So we talked about that, the vision. Where can you provide value, what do people need? And then after that you have to systemize whatever you're looking to do. And then between that, I guess you need to create the system itself. So what are the steps to create that? At first, start with a regular business plan

Because it's not telling me. Sorry. So I forget. But anyways, so James posts in The Next Door and he says, hey, I really like this hair product. If you're interested, please reach out to your number. That's one way. Facebook's really big. Instagram is really big. And automating the posts, sticking by the algorithm, making sure that you're posting consistent content out there. There's also a lot of new business that you could start
