And I know that people have to go through trials and tribulations and kind of figure out their own path. But to me, it's the people who are like, oh, I don't want to date men anymore because they cost so much heartache. So now I'm just gay. And those type of statements, that s*** really rubs me the wrong way. And I was kind of just curious about how others felt about it because it can't just be me feeling that way

Because I have heard even in my female, I have a Facebook group that I am an administrator, co administrator for, and I've seen some of the posts in that group just as you mentioned me and my husband haven't worked out. And so now I'm exploring women, or the post could say I am a married woman and every now and then I want to be with I'm a married woman, married to a man and every now and then I want to be with a woman

I think the issue you especially for us who are actually in the community, the LGBTQIA alphabet mafia community, it starts to become an issue when it's like, oh, I'm just doing this because like you said, people will say things like, oh, I'm bored with my husband, so I want to try a woman. People have to remember that we have emotions, we have feelings. We don't want to be categorized as a trial and error thing

Like you just said, what is your intent? Have you dated black women before? And if their response is no, I'm giving it a try or I'm trying something new or whatever, I'm like, no, I'm not about to be your trial and error or your practice black girl or whatever. No, I mean, I don't have a problem considering considering I won't say I don't have a problem. I'm willing to stretch myself

You have to tell people that you're not on the same wavelength as them if you're not identified solely as this one person. It's a tough time for people who historically have been burdened by carrying a flag of one particular group and not feeling like people understand what that means. To be clear and to need to vocalize from that perspective, it's a generational thing. I also think it's just important for any generation to say, hey, this is who I am

And that's why I made this post, because I feel like we all have a different perspective on what it is to be a part of this family in this community, especially if you're actually within the community, like you see firsthand and you know, like, okay, that's what it is, and that's what it's not, depending on the severity of what you go through. And I've been in the community since the age of eight. I've always known my identity
