I simply hate running. Sorry for the cough. I just went on a run, the first one in probably a year, and it literally induced cough, like I feel a tickle in my throat simply because I caught my body moving. But I only ran like zero. 8 miles, probably. And I was dead. It was really hard. My legs were shaking. I felt my knees getting in, my heart was beating, and I was practically inhaling my mask

Couch to 5k

Hey, Noah, I'm going to share with you a tip that worked for me. There's an app called Couch To Fivek, and it leads you through running, assuming that you're starting at a level of sitting on the couch couch all day. The day one is like you walk for five minutes, you run for 1 minute, and then you walk for five minutes, and you run for 1 minute. And then day by day, you gradually add a little bit more running

But last year, when I did want to become a runner, I downloaded this really funny app which might inspire you. And basically, I don't even know how to describe this app. I mean, I guess I do. I don't know what it's called, but it tracks your movement. And it pretended that you were in a zombie apocalypse. And so you have your headphones in, and it would be like, these sounds like helicopters

Small Steps

And over time, you're going to notice a lot of it is going to get easy five K. I got to a point where I was running a five K almost every day, and I sort of just got ridiculous with it with how far I can go. Now, the great thing about all this is that once you build up or get to a certain level or mileage, if you stop. As Tim mentioned, injury, the great thing is that your body will adapt back to where it was
