Crushes - do you fancy them or want to be them? And open discussion

article image placeholderUploaded by @NLOFrank
So somebody did a post around the fact that they have lots of different crushes, lots of different attraction, and they are going through a gender transition at the moment. So they identify as trans and they have started to really unpick the history of who they've had crushes on and why realizing that it's not all about sexual attraction and wondering whether they are actually asexual or kind of what's going on there

Wow, never considered that perspective! @NLOFrank

I think that grounds my not wanting to have wanting to be someone or attempting not to covet other people's gifts, as we call them gifts. Now to the topic at hand, the crush. I can honestly say all my crushes crushes I feel like are an exercise and extreme, like waste of time and misguided emotions. Personally, I feel like they're just exhausting and ultimately problematic. So try to stay away from them. Right

There's another sense in which I used to walk in France, the time when I was a teenager, I spent in France. I used to walk through the Woods. I remember, and I was very keen on golf, and I imagined myself to be on the Rider Cup team, and I imagined myself playing on the team, and I imagined myself doing something great, perhaps even being the captain and us winning the Rider Cup

I think I've always found it very difficult when people have talked about having crushes, especially like with people that they don't know at all. There's been people that when people say he's just lefty crust that come to my mind. But I've never really like for a long time, I haven't been I didn't feel sexually attracted to people, and I can't really feel romantically attracted to someone that I didn't know

@omaniblog

So the discussion was talking about people having a realization actually they were misinterpreting those feelings. So idolizing somebody in a different way because they are coving something about that person and misinterpreting that as having a crush. So a romantic or sexual attraction to that person, I hope that made it a bit more clearer

Hey, Tasha, thank you for your response to my response. And I agree with you. It's messy, exhausting fruitless. And yeah, but I appreciate you. I mean, like I said, the whole perspective in general. I just need never thought about it that way. And it's like, oh, you know, like, that is also valid. But yeah, the crushing thing. Just try to stay away from it. All right? Have a great one
