My parents in Florida. I was taken care of during the pandemic, and they have since passed away. My mom in 21 and my dad in 22, and then the unexpected death of my little sister in two months after my mom passed away. When you're taking care of loved ones that have since passed away, I don't know about anybody else, but grief hits me a little different. I didn't break down when they passed

Hey there. Thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry for your losses. You sound like you're in such grace, but it's so repercussive. I always think about grief as a slinky. There's a spiral to it, and you come to a place you recognize, but it's different because it's a different moment in your life, but it's the same ingredients. You're just kind of processing them differently

Don't avoid them, don't hide them, don't try to shield them. I said to people even at work and Lord knows I hate crying at work, I'll say, I'm remembering my dad right now. I'm having a moment, or that just reminded me of my father right now. Or I walk into it, and I've noticed when I walk into it freely and openly, it actually flashes or the wave passes quickly

And you mentioning that I'm like, oh, my God, the years of Montgomery Ward and Sears and Popular Club and all these other places and parties that my mom used to have, tupperware, you name it, she was involved in it. Oh, God, that made me laugh. Thank you so much for that laugh. But with I call them grief waves because like you said, you go ahead and you're present in it. You embrace it

Hey. Well, I'm glad I can make you laugh. Grief be funny sometimes. Well, since you've taken a picture with your beloved mom and you've taken a picture with your beloved father in front of this notorious fan, I say you take both pictures and you create a collage and you save it on your phone, right? Because it's easy access
