I think it's important that we have a living will. I think it's important that we have life insurance because in the event that something happens, we don't want to leave our family members with doctor bills and medical bills. We don't want to leave them in debt. We don't want them to have to figure out how they're going to pay for our final expenses, and we don't want to have to do that for anyone else

And sometimes you have to let people get used to the idea, especially if you're doing this with kids that don't want to think about mom or dad leaving them. But also, just the inclusivity of the process is so important and it just saves so many headaches down the road. Do not resuscitate. Also very important if you don't want to be resuscitated. Those DNR things are just never there at the right time and it causes such grief. But thank you for this whole swell
