Jewish Word: Maven

article image placeholderJewish Word | Maven
And that puts the word in a really interesting place today, because on the one hand, it's more relevant than ever. Anybody can start a YouTube channel, blog TikTok, swell cast, just talking about their niche interest and share that with the world. And that's really cool. And that is a way to kind of show that you're a maven at something

I think it's time. It's time to bring Maven back. Thank you. Also, I love the pin on the picture that you attached. I want to get one. I want to get one just like that

On the flip side, the men who were culture bearers and experts in this field tended to be called master storytellers. Rarely that was a self identification, but often they'd get that in press or some PR. They'd be described as master storyteller. Very few women were described as master storytellers, even though I would argue there are more in America anyway

@Tim

So I'm wondering if a culture that, you know, very often has a conceded interest and a concerted interest in making women smaller would play into that. So I definitely think that could be a possibility. But thank you so much for replying. Definitely a really interesting side of things
