One way to look at Mindfulness. Through the eyes of a dog!

They just keep going. And the only choice that the dog gets to make is whether to bark or not. And mindfulness is like that. And in the analogy, mindfulness is how we relate to our thoughts. Our thoughts are the cars that are going by. We have thousands of thoughts a day, and sometimes we bark at those thoughts, like Randy barks at cars

Hi, Rob. Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant analogy on Mindfulness. And your dog Randy is so sweet. Thanks for sharing the picture. I just really appreciate the connection that you're making with the cars driving by and the barking thoughts. I have definitely been working on my Mindfulness practice over the years because I have a very loud barking dogs. Maybe like, trying to think of Chihuahua, chihuahua dog that barks and stuff like that

Hey, it's JL. What a great, swell reminder on mindfulness in a different way. To understand it, employ it. It was very helpful for me. Thank you

I'm not really into where they are, right? I'm not concerned. And I was able to go back to what I was doing and it didn't bother me what the other person was thinking, how they were processed, what I told him, because it was what it was and that was it

Well, happy Monday to you. Thank you so much for your reply and your vulnerability and your transparency there about your really loud barks. There are some barks in the thought world that are loud, there are some that are persistent, there are some that find their way to barking to us at the most in Opportune time

@Luchianna

And thank you for being vulnerable and sharing that story. I'm so glad for how that went for you and look forward to continuing to be in the dialogue about how we can stop barking and use that energy that we might have otherwise used in the barking world to help create and preserve peace in our own life. Thank you so much for your comment. Peace to you today and bye for now
