I would either sit at the base of the tree this one was about eye level. If I was standing, I would stand there, and I will just say for the next few moments, I'm going to gently put my attention on this homemade ornament. And as I have a thought about, oh, I should go do this, or, oh, I didn't do this other thing. Well enough, I will gently bring my attention back to the ornament

It's not a waste of time. Any improvement is never a waste of time. And I love the integration with the meditation exercise. That's one of the ways that I love doing my mindfulness exercise. And the fact that you use the word gently, gently bringing your thoughts back, not getting frustrated thinking about did I leave the oven on? Thinking about things that you never even thought about or even worried yourself with
